    Hi everyone!

I decided to try Vista on my AA1 150. And i hate to use Windows update to download drivers, so I made some research on the net. And I found everything.

So, here is a link to RapidShare to download all drivers
    - Intel Chipset [From Intel]
    - Intel VGA Drivers [From Intel]
    - Realtek Network Drivers [From Realtek]
    - Realtek Audio Drivers [From Realtek]
    - Atheros Wi-Fi card (manual install from Device manager) [Unknown web page]
    - JMicron Card Reader [Unknown web page]
    - Acer Launch Manager [From Acer]
    - Acer Empowering [From Acer, different laptop model]
    - Aspireone unlock (software to remove password from bios and hdd) [Some post in this forum]
    - TouchPad Drivers [From Synaptics]

Please note that after installing WiFi drivers, the "Wireless Zero Configuration" service will bu turned off. Simply click on the network icon in the tray bar and click show networks. It will tell you that the service is off and will ask if you want to turn it on. Click yes and everything will be working.

    Acer Empowering
    AspireOne Unlock Dos
    Audio Vista
    Card Reader - Jmicron
    Intel Chipset
    Acer Launch Manager
    Realtek Network Drivers
    Synaptics Touchpad Drivers
    Intel Video Drivers
    Atheros WiFi Drivers

Thanks for providing the links. But, how is this in one package? I see many RAR files.

I think by "one package" he really meant "one place" ;) .

Originally, I wanted to put everything in a big rar file. But I thought that downloading a big file of 200mb just for missing drivers was a little overkill....

Thank you for the package! For some strange reasons, none of the other Realtek LAN drivers did work for me. I thought that my LAN card is broken. Thank you! You saved my life! :)

You probably downloaded the worng drivers in that case. The network card in the One is PCIe.

How did you get the Intel Chipset driver? I went to Intel site and selected 945 Express for Laptops and Vista but only gave me VGA driver? I was thinking Vista has built in drivers for 945 Express Chipset.

Edit: I see the Chipset drivers provided by Acer or Intel XP Chipset driver work for Vista. The Synaptics driver provided by Acer also work for Vista. LAN driver can be downloaded through Windows Update. Atheros driver is the same one I've got seems to be the most up to date for Vista. JMicron provided by Acer works for Vista. VGA is the most up to date from Intel for Vista. Audio driver seems most up to date driver for Vista. Launch Manager provided by Acer works for Vista and is up to date.

Ive fixed it... must have removed something i didnt want to in vLite.

After booting to vista (on my D:\) I then
    • Went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR set start value to 3 (not 4)
I then copied usbstor.inf from C:\Windows\System32\Drivers (XP install)
      to
D:\Windows\System32\Drivers (Vista install where the problem was).
It then asked me to find the location of the drivers about 5 times, each time i pointed it to C:\Windows\System32\
    ...and finally worked :D
