i have dual boot xp / vista ultimate . i downloadded all drivers for xp which works. i installed majority in vista also . but some were incompatible with vista , etc.

vista i still have a few OTHER DEVICES called base system devices? what are these please?

the webcam driver installed ok but it doesnt show up as image device in my computer like in xp ? was this feature removed in vista ?

i can see sd host adapters is ok but it only shows one SD? (but aao has two) so one of the other base system devices could be this ?

also i installed realtek audio hd drivers but the audio is very low even if i set to maximum . but if i use headphones its very loud . so have i got wrong driver ?

my realtek lan driver installed but has a question mark - possibly wrong driver ?

** if someone can give me link to compatible vista drivers thanks
