Vista SP2 installation

    I've tried several times to install SP2 on my Vista Home Premium partition. Each attempt failed in the final portion of the process. A Windows message pops up and says that the machine is reverting to the previous installation which in my case is SP1. I'm wondering if others have had the same issue and what a possible fix might be for it.

    Is it release candidate ? Microsoft said that they will launch SP2 only at June 2009...

    Yes it is but many are installing it for test purposes. It installs and works fine on my desktop (homebrew dual core). I just thought there might be an issue of some kind with the One preventing install.
