I'm having a hell of a time creating a Vista bootable USB

Diskpart does not recognize my 4GB USB as a disk (list disk) and when I try to manually enter the number (6) Diskpart says, disk not valid.

SO, I switch to my 60GB USB drive... which I won't be able to FAT32, because it's too big, but it was recognized in DISKPART as disk 6

Using the same USB, I've been able to make bootable the USB for Kubuntu and Ubuntu, so this is eluding me.

I also tried the EEE PC method mentioned in another thread here, which fails, because I'm using a vlite Vista ISO and the files are not recognized as being source (ISO or file structure). :x

ANy suggestions? I can't get an external CD drive until 3 weeks from now :|
