VLC Installation on aspire one

    Hi
    I am a linux newbie, and struggling a bit. On trying to install vlc (I ised fedora 7 version), I get the following error message:
    Error: Missing Dependency: libpulse.so.0(PULSE_0) is needed by package vlc
    Error: Missing Dependency: libopendaap.so.0 is needed by package vlc-core
    Error: Missing Dependency: libdvdnav.so.4 is needed by package vlc-core

    Can anyone advise? V frustrating not being able to play movies. The supplied movie player doesn't seem to have the right codecs.
