I want to install vlite onto my aao, but don't really know where to begin. Doing this...do I even need a copy of vista, or does this vlite already have/do it. I thought I read something about it automaticaly does all this for you. Is this the case?

vlite allows you to remove components. You need Vista installation files for it to do that.

After that is done, you can set up a USB key to install from if you like. This is how I do it.

SD slot is not a bootable device.

Oh, thanks for the info. Do you have any suggestions for a USB stick? or is anything that supports 2.0 good already?

I use the OCZ Rally 2. They are pretty cheap, and have fast read speeds (not write). Corsair Voyager has better write speeds and is close to the same price (ocz usually has mir's that lower the overall cost after all is said and done).
