Is there a tool to give the notebook a lower voltage or a special frequency to run?
In my previous centrino notebook I used nhc (notebook hardwarecontrol), which works pretty well,
but I guess it will not support this platform :(

You can try my a1ctl tool to lock the cpu speed at 800Mhz.

some chance to reduce voltage? not just for cpu, afaik the chipset is the power drain.

The minimum CPU voltage is the one when it's clocked at 800Mhz (you can't go under).

For now, there's no way to undervolt the chipset (and I'm not sure this can be done).

you can try a1ctl to lock the cpu at 800 mhz, but thats all.
The GMA950 cant be undervoltet (I found no software, that can do this)
    ATItool, Powerstrip already tried, nothing.
CPU Rightmark is too old, NHC can only clock the internal clock but not the external.
