    I installed it.
Only needs one kext unlike the other fixes which have hda enabler and applehda
Will test sound after hibernation in a bit.

    Ok thanks, i've an issue.
When i install this kext in system preferences/sound i see a lot of audio output peripherals like PCM, Speakers, ecc ecc.
    What does it means?
I use my hackintosh in live performance with my band to play orchestrations under my rock music...
    This driver is stable?

To be perfectly honest, if you're using a laptop in a way which it can't break or youll be in the sh*t, you probably shouldnt be using a hackintosh. However I've had no problems with it. No idea what all that pcm stuff is, or why 2 mic's are detected but speakers work which is all I need.

This kext solves the mic level adjust problem?

Is it ok with internal speakers and line out, auto-switch, etc?

i just tried installing it and had mixed results.

sound prefs shows two mics - both with gain adjustment. second mic displayed a level in the level meters and allowed me to adjust gain to fill the meter, so a major improvement on any other kext i've tried thus far.

however, machine became really unstable and KPd repeatedly whenever the mic was accessed - iChat shows the mic but no level and rapidly KPd

I have a "default" xXx 10.5.6 install, with Voodoo kernel and Voodoo power added, on a A110 with a ZIF HD upgrade and an Apple N wifi card.

i just checked out the latest source code for this driver (revision 5). it's amazing what they do, the panel is much cleaner now. also the left/right balance now works.. tho im still having trouble with the mic  the output volume also increased from the first build. i think its comparable to how loud it is on windows. :D good job voodoo team!

    Debugging:

Speaker: Works but the general volumes is less than the old ApplehHDA, autoswitch works.
    Audo after Wake-UP: Works
    ASIO Support: Works
    Mic: Don't Works

It's generally a great work but i hope you can solve that issue..
    Thanks...
