    hey everyone,
i have searched this forum and only found instances of this kext working under snow leopard (and other ppl asking if it works). but whenever i try to install it (using the installer dloaded from chameleon.osx86.hu) and i start up, there are errors in the verbose startup (i think...they are lines typed in yellow) and it seems as if the "^@"(ctrl+shift+2 maybe...) key is being constantly pressed, the trackpad also doesnt work.
i have tried installed both the trackpad and the controller and just the controller to no anvil. can someone please help me, in a second i will try extracting the controller kext with pacifist and using kext helper to install that.

p.s.: i did delete the acpips2nub.kext as instructed

edit 1: extracting and installed with kext helper...and it doesnt help...i see that it fails to load ApplePS2Controller.kext and it then kp'ed! had to go into single user and remove the voodoo kext

...ok, so i deleted the ApplePS2Controller and the AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext but then i was receiving kp's regarding AppleACPIPlatform.kext ( i think)
i did some searching on the voodoo forums and found a solution:
i did this in single-user after i installed the kext and received the kp,
obviously, i rebooted into single-user mode (-s) and i mounted the root file system (/sbin/mount -uw /)

    1- cd /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext/Contents/PlugIns/

    2 - rm -Rf AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext

    3 - cd /System/Library/Extensions

    4- rm -Rf ApplePS2Controller.kext

    5- rm -Rf ApplePS2Controller.kext.orig

now to work on customizations...any suggestions?

edit: i randomly changed settings and now everything works except that i cannot single-click with the trackpad, if i just tap, it performs a double click
