VPN Connection at University

    Dear all,

    I recently bought and Acer Aspire One netbook (Linpus Lite Operating System) thinking that it would be great to use when I was working in univerity. However, I have been told that I will need to download a VPN client from an open network before I'm able to connect to the university's one.

    Could anyone please explain how I'd go about doing this, please? As a newcomer to Linux, I haven't a clue!
