VR Headsets?

    There are a host of vr headsets that have hit the market ever since google unveiled its cardboard. Some cost as little as $8. I want something that really provides an emersive feeling though, but I don't want to get an oculus rift either. And I don't want those mobile friendly ones, just something I can connect to the lappy and use. Please provide suggestions.
