    I read about this morning! $5000 dollars I think for each VW car owner! I don't have VW, so I can't say that I am happy :)

    It's moments like these that you wish you'd picked up a non-working vw for a few hundred or a thousand to get $4,000 back on the offer. (They might contest it, but considering the need to regain customer loyalty and support, they might not either)

    Is the buyback related to the wrong reading of the smoke monitor? When that news came out that Volkswagen cars have a problem with the programming of the pollution monitoring system - that is registering a low pollution which numbers are like being doctored - some economists said that it is the end of Volkswagen.
