Web browser does not open

    I also have a Aspire One that we dont use very much but it was turned on last night and it wouldn't load up IE browser using the wifi.It says it's connected to our wifi and has a good signal but wont let IE boot.All other programs work and it will work using a aircard.The current OS is Windows XP but i'm wondering if the modem could be bad.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Wish I could provide a complete answer but I don't use XP any more. However! It doesn't sound like a modem problem but instead it sounds like a software interface problem with IE. In the past it seems I ran across this problem and the fix is listed in the Windows Knowledge Base. Hope this helps.

    * I found the problem. * Wife upgraded our router now I feel dumb. :(
    It won't work on our new router and I can't find a driver for it.
