web cam in chat rooms

    hi all,
    has anyone else had trouble using the built in webcam on the linux aspire one in internet chat rooms? Works fine in skype and msn but not in other applications, just says camera unavailable. Chat no longer works on facebook too!!

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble :)

    Make sure that 2 programs/sites are not trying to use it at the same time.
    Also make sure that you have the right settings in the programs/sites that you want to be able to use it. USB 2.0 CAMERA is the one you want.
