webcam microphone

    webcam works fine, but the microphone seems to not work, no sound from logitech or skype when used, does it need a driver to work or what

    Go into skype. -> Audio config.
    disable the audio-autoconfig.
    see the both channels (left and right)
    click on the padlock over the channels to make it
    possible to config every channel independent from
    each other.

    Put the left channel to zero and the right channel to 100%
    should work now. Same for other applications.

    My mic is gone too, but i think the cable inside the screen is dead.
    Sometime i lose the webcam too. If i move a little bit my screen i can use my webcam again and just before i can hear a sound (notification sound) from windows about a new detected device.
    My Aspire One i just too old now...
