I have a AA1 110, I installed mandriva 2009.0 One. I have installed all of the updates, and I installed skype, however when i click test on the Options page in the video section. it is not working, only a grey screen. Than I installed cheese, it works, what's the problem? Also, the wifi led is not working, is there a solution?

is the webcam selected as /dev/video0/?

if so just try leaving it a while and see if it kicks in.

I once had this on my 'normal' other laptop running ubuntu, after a couple of days it all started working again!!

Well, that's strange, but will it affect the video conferencing?

I loaded Skype yesterday and during the setup, the installation announced that it found my video cam and was installing it. After making a connection with another Skype user, the video worked great! With the "little" engine the Acer has, I was very surprised it did Skype video so well.
