-the webcam cannot be on. and show a meassagge saying sthing about not having a driver.
-i also cannot keyin my own password as if there is ad. a password exiting there. i am starting to think that the sale person gave me a used one not a brand new one. and the battery i insert in has already 2 hour plus battery live.

what should i do to solve it? thank u.

Is this on Linpus or windows? If this is Linux, then note that for security, usually the password does not echo anything to the screen, so although it doesn't look like it's typing the password, have faith, and it will more than likely work :) It's just a method so that people cannot even see how long your password is by simply looking at your screen like you could with windows when you see the *.

Was the box fully sealed when you got it? All i can say regarding this is that mine also came with about 75% charge in the battery, so i got a good hour and a half our of it before having to charge the battery.

There is nothing that i know of that comes with the Aspire One. When you first booted your One, it will have asked for a password for "root" user. This is the only password i ahve set myself.
