Webcam problem, please help!

    Hello, after installing a touchscreen kit into my acer aspire d150 i've been having problems with my webcam. Device manager see's my webcam, however, when I load Acer Crystal Eye Webcam it doesn't detect the webcam. Would anyone happen to know the problem?

    Your webcam is probably damaged, the firmware on the webcam board needs a reflash, but one need some software and a dump/bin file.
    I bought a used one on ebay and replaced the faulty one. Get a Suyin one, not a Liton. Maybe you would like to switch to a 1.3MP webcam right away, but I don't know if a Atom could handle it.
