Webcam question

    I read somewhere that the XP models have 1.3 megapixel webcam and that Linux version has 0.3 megapixel webcams, is that true? can someone confirm that.

    It's not truth... All models have 0.3 camera and if you want better one then probably you can change it with something from Asus parts - personally I'm not brave enough to spend money and try :) But I believe there is a possibility. Both cameras are USB connected...

    i see you have the AA1 with 1.5GB RAM & 320GB HHD, how did you get it? The one I am looking at only has 160GB HHD and 1GB RAM

    He upgraded them himself. A lot of ppl have done the upgrades whether it's the ram, hdd, etc. You can void the warranty by doing the DIY upgrades but if you don't care about it then do it, it could be fun.

    It is fun. That's why I gave you idea of changing webcam... Probably I will change this next time I will open screen enclosure :)
