Webcam recognition problem

    Hey guys,

    I'm running an Acer Aspire One, with Linux Linpus Lite (the standard Linux operating system).

    The webcam which is built in was working fine, until I just tried to use it for the first time in the built in messenger program. Now it won't even recognize the webcam is even there in the system section, and also won't work in the 'webcam' program in the 'fun' section where a webcam program exists to try it out, and record things with it.

    Anyone have any ideas how to get it working again?

    I have the same exact problem! Did u manage to solve it??
    I tried restoring to the original settings but in vain..
