webcam utility freeware for AAO?

    i am looking for a feature-rich webcam utility for the AAO as it does not come with any webcam utility. something that can record videos, snap pictures, adjust image quality...etc.

    any recommendations ?

    i have the lite-on webcam and installed the lite-on drivers (as opposed to suyin). i was browsing my windows subdirectories and noticed a folder named "SUYIN NB Cam" there are 2 utilities in there, one will do everything you've asked for, including recording video and adjusting the image (gamma, brightness, backlight, etc.)

    microsoft also has a powertoy for the webcam. you can set the interval for taking pictures, e.g. once every 10 seconds. it doesn't record video though. google "powertoys" to find it.

    As a side note: On Windows, you can use Windows Movie Maker to record videos.
