    Great news!

I use WEP with shared key at home (I know, WPA is better, but my kids' Nintendo DS seem to be WEP-only). Until now, I was unable to connect right away after bootup to the router. I had first to switch to open key, try to connect (which failed), then switch to shared key, then retry to connect (which met success).

Today ACER released a patch for "wifi connection" (or something like that, I don't have the exact wording at hand) and finally they fixed this glitch. Now I no longer have to use the open/shared switch to connect!

I forgot to test the hibernate problem, that is I lose wifi when I put the One to sleep (and I'm at work so I can't do it right now). Did someone test it?

    Have a nice day!

    hey SParent,

I'm having connection drop issues when trying to connect to ad-hoc WEP. Do you know if this patch fixes it?

BTW, where did you find this patch? :?:

    Thanks~!

I don't know about ad hod networks, never set up or used one. Someone more knowledgeable might help.

The patch has been released on Live update (#180058).

    Good luck.
