Wesnoth install help

    Tried
    yum install wesnoth wesnoth-tools wesnoth-server

    Bounces from one repository to another keeps downloading a gig of stuff no go finally canceled. Isn't this the correct way to install this?

    And if possible does anyone have a rpm for the most current stable release would save me from compiling from source?

    best way of installing wesnoth is using the packetmanager

    do the following

    Alt+F2 and type
    Code:
    pirut
    then, after it is loaded, search wesnoth and install.

    works time after time ;)

    that is the easiest, however you will get a one year old version of the game. the new version is much better but i can't get it either. version 1.6
