What do i need to Game on the AAO

    i was wondering are there any programs that i need to game on the AAO

    If you are rocking the Linpus Linux OS then you will need to install Wine if you wish to run Windows games, else assuming you are running Windows your golden.

    Just be aware that you'll be limited in what you can run due to limited CPU and GFX capabilities of the One.

    ok thanks im using windows.

    i remember seeing somewhere that there was a few programs that can help the gameing experiance. Does anyone know what they are ??

    updating video drivers? If you mean something like 3danalyze which allows more games to run because it emulates hardware TnL, then that's okay... but that's just to get games to run, it won't help you with framerates I'm pretty sure. It got Call of Duty 2 working on my AAO though.

    I wanted to add to this topic. I just bought an Acer one and put windows 7 on in right away. And I have had some problems playing some of the games others say they can play fine. I was wondering if its windows 7. Games like resident evil 4 and tomb raider... after I click the exe; it says it has stopped working. Can the video drivers be updated for windows 7?

    On the GMA 950, the only COD you can run is the original COD. COD2 or higher will not work.

    Cod2 DOES work, you just have to do some tweaking to get it to work, IE either installing modded drivers or using a program like 3danalyze to enable emulated TnL. I have CoD2 installed and running on my AAO that I am typing from.

    also sometimes the results are bad due to Slowww ssd i use HDD :D so i am fine
    though i am waiting for the 10 inch AA1 :D
