If You Mess Up Your Aspire One, And You Want A Fresh Re install your System. How you will Re Format It By Original settings Since It Doesn't have any CD-ROM . How will you boot your Manufacturer's Settings By First boot..

    1. Enable D2D option in bios
    2. Reboot
    3. During POST, press a shotrcut key (fn + F10 i think, not sure, but it's in your manual)
    4. Follow on screen instructions
    5. Reboot.

Yes, assuming you haven't already deleted the recovery partition. If you have you'll need to obtain a recovery CD from ACER....

What if you put more then what if in your subject line ;) You will get more ppl looking at your thread, thats what if :)

You can download an ISO image from Acer for the AA1. I have it downloaded but have not done anything with it yet.

Here is an extremely cool trick though. You take the hard drive out, you install Windows from a CD using another computer. Once windows extracts all files and goes to reboot, you shut the computer off. Remove drive, put in AA1 and boot and let windows install :D The down side to this is that it takes a Windows key that belongs to that disc you use to install. So you would have to burn up an XP key. There are other ways around it but not legal ;) And.... you don't know me :ugeek:
