What is the Acer Updater & should I delete it?

    I keep getting a pop-up for the Acer Updater on my 1410. What exactly does it do & should I just uninstall it?

    as much as i've seen from it it supposedly alerts you with messages from acer.. such as updates and low-priced deals? i dont think it would hurt anything by uninstalling it. unless you want to keep the updates and such going.. hope this helps and have a good day. :D

    another thing, you could just remove it from startup by going on Start > (if windows vista/7 type msconfig) Run > MSCONFIG
    click the startup tab. then uncheck AcerUpdater (i think that's what it's called.. if its not there then i'll go back to my main partition to check for you.
