What is the real weight of A150L ?

It varies from 0.95 to 1.26 kg on different sites
Even on the same, apparently respectful site: http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/ACER_ASIRE_ ... ersion.asp
you can see : "At only 1.26 Kg this lightweight model is sure to make you wonder how you ever managed to lug a standard laptop around",
but clicking Technical Specification, you get the following:
"System Type Notebook
Built-in Devices Stereo speakers, wireless LAN aerial

Depth 17 cm
Height 2.9 cm
Weight 1 kg
Colour Sapphire blue
Localisation United Kingdom"

I hesitate between A110 and A150, and this information is crucial (the rest of the differencies I know).

I have the 8GB SSD/512 Mb Linux model. On my kitchen scale it ways 988g with battery. Hope this helps.

 

Thanks, but I suspect your model is A110 and it is indeed below 1kg according to ALL sites. My problem is the A150 (i.e. HDD) version.

 

For the three cells Acer says it is 1.04kg, for the 6 cells it would be 1.26kg. These values are from the technical specification on the Acer website (the 1.04kg from the US page, the 1.26kg from the Austrian page)

 

From my kitchen scales:

The weight of my 6-cell AAO is 2# 9 oz. or 1.16 kg.

 

Weight of A150 compared to A110

I have both the A110 and the A150. The weight of the A110 is about 975 grams, the A150 with 120GB weights around 1025 grams. The cases are not similar: You can see a slight extension on the bottom of my A150, probably housing the hard disk.
