I work in the Hub! Addison hub to be exact. Which Hub are you in?

I'm a small sort sorter -- which probably sounds redundant to you non-ups people. And yes, i actually sort packages - as in reading the address and sending it to the right place. I'm classified as "skilled labor" w00t!

I can't wait to leave big brown, but for now they're floating my tuition so I'm stuck.

Was a desktop / server support bod for many years, dealing mostly with MS and Novell Netware systems. In 2005 I changed to manage the install, support, deinstall of LANs, WANs and currency trading hardware that my employer and their clients use to transact their business. After discussions last week it seems I will be moving more towards Project Management. I now really need to start working towards that CCNA!

    Hobbies:
    IT Support
As per PAul, AAOne advocate. One guy at work has already bought one, but perhaps I am cheating, cause I sold him my blue SSD so that I could change to the white HDD model (still running.....)
Linux! Played wtih it and bought the magazines, but never looked at it seriously. The AAOne is my first real exposure to running Linux on a daily basis and Iam loving the experience!
Kids, or rather Kid. I have two and the elder one is going through a tennage stage at the moment. I've gone off him and am not sure what happened to the lovely little chap he was! The younger is still great fun and I look forward to spending time with him when I get home from work.
    Shooting. Shotgun and rifle.
Cycling,, when I can find the time!

I work in product support. Hoping to transition into IT with the same company, hopefully I can last long enough  .

I'm really liking Linux. The more I use my AAO, the more I like it.

I love gaming (when I can find the time), and tinkering with computers.

I'm a Materials Science and Engineering U/G at Sheffield University. My hobbies include playing with all things gadgets and computers, cycling, singing, playing guitar (learning slowly..), mining - oh yes, I spent this summer underground for 9 weeks in the north of england. Good job it was a wash-out summer! :D

I'm an old Industrial Maintenance Electrician. Dabbled in electronics for over 30 years, mostly computers for the last 25. Help support my hobby of gadgets and other toys. :D Have been working more towards using Linux daily but still need Windows for games. My A150, sorry to say, is going to stay XP for now, all the distro's are working on their version of a Netbook Linux. I'll make my choice then, but I'm in no hurry. Work on the AAO and change light bulbs, what more is there to life? JohnP

Heh. I'm 50 years old and just left my third job ever - as a supervisor at a major brand construction equipment dealer. Looking at new options, construction is sluggish right now.

Hobbies - Follow politics, angry about how WRONG they all are these days (some more than others, but ALL WRONG). Collect black gunz. Shoot them sometimes. Camp. RC monster trucks (MGT 8.0) but probably not enough. HAM radio, also not enough. Knocking the old lady around.

Working with Sun/Solaris, have done that for 10 years now. Different employers.

Hobbies - Small devices running Linux -- The biggest now is the Aspire one A110 which I'm waiting on.
Gaming, FPS --> Computers --> Family and my kids --> Outdoor activities, enjoy the nature --> Enjoy movies/series on my projector...

I tend to dislike Linux on the desktop but I think Linpus Lite actually may change that (Believe it or not!) ;)

    Living in Sweden.

I am a library stock manager. I spend 1,000s of £ ordering and allocating books and I love it.
Not may non-techie professionals around here. I am a bit surprised.
Hobbies are reading, cinema and cinema critic, computers, kite-flying, badminton and quality time with my kids.
By the way, my forum name reflects my all-time favourite video game and the surname I gave my wife ('Babe' said with a French accent - because that's my nationality). My avatar shows a black guy plugged to his mp3 player, that's pretty much me.

Glad to be part of this community.

I work for the Health Service in the UK as a senior admin monkey.
Outside of work I am trying to build a freelance career in IT, specifically project management with a marketing twist.

I live in Cupar, Fife but I am a Welshman by birth and a Londoner by choice.

I use my AAO on the move a lot, it rarely leaves my side.
