what linuxto install toaspire one to do my work as i dream?

hello and i wish a happy new year with a lot of linux in our life..
I wonder if anyone had insatlled to the acer aspire one with linpus,the original iso from linpus site and not the linpus from the cd that acer gives.
i ask you this question because i had a lot of problems after the pptp and vnc installation regarding the sound (lost the drivers maybe...)and not download nothing from yum.
i ve read carefully all the forum before i make this post,and i like to hear your advice.
the use that i like to have for the acer asipiore one is vpn,vnc,multimedia,e-mail,browsing,wireless network,ftp,just for my work(im a network technician in Greece and i travel a lot to customers and this thinks will help me a lot if it work fine for this jobs...
Please advice me what to do to have the above services withn linux oriented software....

I have a better solution for you than linpus! It is called Linux4one (google it...) based on Ubuntu 8.04. Everything works out of the gate and now you are on standard, safe, solid ubuntu!
