    Hey,

I recently (yesterday) purchased one of these AAO751h and the first things I did was take it apart to see what I was able to do.

From what I saw these will fit any 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD. Last time I looked at 2.5" drives the biggest you could get was about
500GB but I wouldn't be surprised if you could find a 750GB easily. I would more than likely consider putting a faster drive like the
Western Digital Scorpio Blacks http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?mai ... s_id=10968 into mine - But if space is of more
importance to you, I double checked and there are 750GB drives available. Good luck, and let us know how you go.
    :)

The specs I saw for the 751h indicate the stock drive is a 2.5in 160GB Seagate Momentus 5(5400rpm 8MB cache). So I preface this by saying that I'm presuming those specs are right and that it's a SATA drive which they didn't actually indicate.

AFAIK as of February 2011 the largest capacity 2.5in SATA HD you can buy is 750GB, at least in the 9.5mm high form factor. There are 1TB drives out there as well but they're 12.5mm tall so while I don't know the exact details of the 751h bay I can't imagine the 1TB fitting without at least some modifications.

As far as what's out there in the standard 9.5mm height, I decided on a 2.5in 750GB Seagate Momentus for my eM250-1863. I chose it because it spins at 7200rpm and has a 16MB cache.

As for other 2.5in 750GB HDs, the Western Digital Scorpio Black has similar specs, whereas the Hitachi Travelstar and Western Digital Scorpio Blue both spin at 5400rpms with 8MB caches.

    YMMV
