Where have all the models gone?

    I just picked up this AA1, Blue, 8Gb, 512M, Linux and got XP working.
    So, I said "This is great, Blue for my son, All I need is Pink for my daughter."

    Can't find it.

    Best Buy, futureshop, NCIX, Tiger Direct, etc, etc.

    Its this one, or the XP version - Blue, 120GB, 1GB

    Everything else seems to have dissappeared.

    All the original models only ever came in blue or white.

    Quite the opposite to the thread title, we are deluged with new Aspire One models recently: black 16GB SSD version, pink, black and brown and black XP HDD versions, new versions with 160GB HDD and 6-cell battery...

    Check newegg.com

    Looks like Acer is on a bit of a roll.
