Where is acer's answer to MSI's overclocking BIOS?

    As far as I can see, we aao dealers are getting a raw deal as far as advanced BIOSs are concerned. Wind users enjoy increased ram for the GMA950 and overclocking up to almost 2GHz. All we get is a few changes to the brightness table and some almost non existant fan control. I know the wind is slightly more expensive than the aao, but so far acer has done nothing to help hobbyists who want to get the most from their device.

    Has anyone had any contact with acer about this?

    Don't hold your breath waiting for this feature... as it's almost a certainty that it will never happen. MSI has always included some form of overclocking on most of their products... As for ACER, none.

    hmm, thats a shame because it seems like a fairly longwinded thing to do with setfsb (looking at another thread in this forum). What about something like the unofficial BIOSs for the eee?
