Where is the sound processor

    I have 2 acer one at the moment. One has a suspected motherboard /processor failure. The other doesn't play sounds through the speaker or headphone.

    it started of really bad quality (crackling) and now doesn't work at all so not a driver issue.

    I have swapped the speakers and this didn't make a difference.

    just wondering where the hardware for sound processing is. If its on the small right hand board with the 2 audio jacks I have a spare.

    Can someone confirm this please.
