I have five Aspire One in the shop where i work in italy. 3 White and 2 Blue. The 2 blue version are also upgradated up to 1gb ram

 

Lowest end model, and only that model is available at Canada Computers in Toronto, ON Canada.

I bought one there a couple days ago, all locations across southern ontario have them in stock according to the little stock thing on their site. 379CAD, mine was something like 428 total with tax. Overall, after enabling the "add/remove programs" thing and getting VLC, I am extremely impressed with the thing, so much better than my eee, with more features at a lower price. What more can I ask for?

The 8GB SSD/512MB ram one is available at ncix.com in Canada for $379 (seems to be the average cost...) The one I ordered Tuesday night/Wednesday morning should be arriving this morning

Just went home with my new toy....

I bought the one in Jakarta for $439 as 8GB SSD, linpus, 1 GB of ram, and they gave me free 4GB Sandisk SD card.

Quite a bargain I guess.

 

Newegg sent me an European model. WTF!!
It is completely useless and I have to wait until Monday to reach them.

Nope! the one isn't ready at Bhineka.com, although they display it on the website.

I bought it in a roadshow in some mall.

 

Must have been a glitch..the one they sent me was a US model.

 

Anyone know anymore about a UK date - i've had mine on pre-order with Expansys for ages and i'd heard that this week was going to be the launch - why did they only release the blue one at PC World darnnit!?!?!?

Looking at Play.com and Amazon.co.uk however their pre-order dates are now early August!!! :cry: :? :x

Good deals can be had on the 8GB SSD white Linux model here in Canada. Last week, eSNG in Toronto had it for $339. Compu2000 (owned by NCIX) had a limited supply a few days ago for $349 + free Epson AIO printer + free shipping. Anitec had a handful for their weekly promo last Friday for $349.

Yeah, but you guys get the Linux SSD model in blue. All we have so far is white.

 

yeh the blue is miles nicer,

but i want a HDD!
