I am looking for the 120gig 3-cell 1gigoram version. I found it for $400 but i was wondering if it was anywhere cheaper.
Does anyone know if/when best buy/circuit city/walmart or other big box stores are getting them?

I've been wondering the same thing. I ordered a 120GB/XP model from JR.com for $323 after Microsoft Live Cashback (when it was 15%. now it's 6% or something). But it's been nearly a week and it still hasn't shipped. I have a bad feeling they're going to cancel it.

I missed out on the only batch they had at Best Buy. And it doesn't seem like they'll ever get any new ones in store or online. It's a shame too because I have a $50 Best Buy gift card ready to go.

Some of the Circuit City stores here have the 8GB Linux version, but I want the XP version since I'll be dumping photos onto it when I go on vacation in a few weeks. I'm glad that they at least had a floor sample to play with. Now I know without a doubt that the keyboard is a perfect fit for that size -- unlike the EEE (forget about touch typing) or the Dell Mini.

jandr.com had listed them in stock then out of stock so i guess the resupply, if it ever came, went to everyone that was on the waiting list.

I just checked their site. Looks like they are sold out. That's ok, Amazon is pre-ordering the 160GB / 6 cell for $399.

just to clarify, the microcenter.com stock is the 3-cell/120gig version.

i think for $40 worth it's worth waiting for 6-cell/160gig version.

price-wise no other netbook comes close in terms of this price for these kind of specs.
