Which external 56k USB Modem

    Just got the Acer Aspire One AOD 150-1920
    I need dialup...which External 56K Modem is best..easy to install...it has to work with the Acer's 2.0 USB port .. which the Roswill (recommended in this forum ) states is only compatable with 1.1 USB...

    once installed will it become the defaul modem?

    USB 2.0 is going to work as well. 2.0 is compatible backwards with 1.1...

    Yes. As long as you not changing anything in Internet Options/Connection Settings etc...

    Any USB modem... Most of them is exactly the same in functionality...
