which Linux system should I install?

    i currently have an xp version with 120 gb hard drive and I am interested in dual booting Linux.

    I just have a few questions:

    Which Linux is suggested by you guys?

    will i have to partiton the hard drive?

    Which Linux is the easiest to install?

    You can also try Ubuntu - good support and good community. Easy to run live install from USB stick...

    I went with Jorge's instructions and installed Fedora 10. At the same time, I replaced the Atheros card with a better Intel Pro/Wireless 4965AGN Mini PCIE Adapter, which works OOB with Linux. And while you've got the Aspire One pried open, you might as well increase the memory to 1.5GB if you haven't already.
