Which type of HD in a aspireone

    I want to replace the ssd of my daughters aspireone 110A with a HD, which one can be used a 1,8 inch or a 2,5 inch.
    And must it be sata or pata.

    1.8" PATA ZIF but it still requires some effort to fit (there are guides online, like tnkgrl's) and some require a different ribbon cable. There are some cheap 20GB Hitachi drives on eBay ($12 and up but they require a flipped ribbon cable ubless you modify the original). I'm doing this myself and I have three cables on the way to The States (hard to buy just one), so LMK if you need one.

    you wont fit a 2.5" hdd in a aoa110 BUt you will in a aoa150

    do most 1.8" hdds need a flip cable and is there an esay way to tell?
