Why can't I install anything?

    I gave up trying to save my Linpus installation...installed Ubuntu EEE and I'm liking it much better. I am more familiar with Ubuntu and apt-get. I will probably try OneLinux once it is released.

    With auto-login turned on, Ubuntu-eee starts up a little bit slower than Linpus...BUT, the wireless connection comes up faster, so from the time I hit the power button to the time i'm surfing the web is probably the same if not better in Ubuntu eee.
