Wi-Fi on/off switch

    I am new to ubuntu, am running it of USB on A00110, everything seems great except Wi-Fi switch on front doesnt do anything (It did work with Linpus). However WI-Fi works fine. Have tried on friends 110 and same result so it is ubuntu. Any ideas. :D

    Switch works. It's just not showing anything. Switch is a hardware valve for Radio ON/OFF signal to Wi-Fi card so it works with every operating system...

    Don't worry; be happy. Seriously, the wifi switch is the last of the things that don't always work with distro X that I worry about. You don't say what version of Ubuntu you're using; that might make a difference.

    Thanks for reply am using latest netbook remix of Ubuntu. Yes Wi-Fi works fine I just like the convenience of the switch and yellow LED to tell me if it is on or off. Cheers Dave
