Does anybody know if there are any Mini PCI-E cards out there that would support 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth? I'm looking at the Aspire One, and I want to add 802.11n and Bluetooth. Whilst there are 802.11n cards out there that will work, I'd like Bluetooth too, preferably without having to resort to a soldering iron or a USB adapter. I've got a mini PCI adapter that supports b/g and Bluetooth in my current laptop, so it's not like such things are unheard of.

    Cheers all.

Having checked that out I find that the card you have highlighted will only work with MSI laptops and only seem to be available in the USA>

Still a quick Google shows them available at $16.

Why oh why wont anyone ship to the UK?

That seems a bit odd; if it meets mini PCI-E standards and you can get drivers for it, why wouldn't it work in other laptops?

    Anyone willing to test?

    Google to the rescue!

Just find a seller/store that ships internationally. There's 20 going on eBay for $7.99, and I'm sure that the seller would be willing to ship to the UK if you asked nicely and paid the postage. There wouldn't be any customs tax either, since it's under £36 in value!

Are you sure those modules are compatible?
The connector is on the wrong side, and some say 'MSI only'.

Unfortunately the MSI only card, which is the one I was looking at is a non standard card designed to work with certain AMD motherboards only, it seems.

    Shame!

I did. They work. I didn't noticed any problems with them. These cards works only with 802.11b/g. I use 802.11N type network so I decided to stay with Intel.
