Please post here concise details of your Wireless Configuration, Wireless Router and whether or not it is working.

I have an A150 with Linpus and the Wifi is not working. Like many I've tried the suggestions in the other Wifi topics but none have got it working. I'm beginning to think there is an incompatibility with my Wireless Router and the AA0. I'm hoping if people post concise details of their Wifi set up (working and non working) we can see a pattern emerge of what works and what doesn't for every ones benefit. It's already getting difficult wading through the mountain of other Wifi posts so please avoid verbose posts here, just the concise detail please. So here's mine.

Status: No Wifi Connection, No Network Established, but did work initially.
AspireOne: A150A, Linpus, Bios V3304, Last LiveUpdate 23-Sep, Address Assignment DHCP, Security type Open, Encyption None
Wireless Access Point: Netgear MR814v2, 802.11b, Channel 6, SSID Broadcast, Security Authentication Open, Encryption None, MAC Filter on
Other Steps Tried: Tried WEP encryption, Static Address, SSID off, BIOS Update from V3114, Reinstall Linpus

    Regards, Jape

Wireless Access Point: Netgear MR814v2, 802.11b, Channel 6, SSID Broadcast, Security Authentication Open, Encryption WEP 128, MAC Filter on

    Mine's working fully.

    Copying the useful format above:

    Status: working fuilly
AspireOne: A110AB, Linpus, Bios V3109, Last LiveUpdate 18-Sep, Address Assignment DHCP, Encyption WPA2-Personal
Wireless Access Point: Linksys WRT54G (running HyperWRT), 802.11b/g mixed, Channel 11, SSID Broadcast, Encryption WPA2-Personal, MAC Filter on, assigning static IP addresses according to MAC.
Other Steps Tried: Originally using WEP, which also worked well.

Tried my AAO on a friends router. Worked perfectly. Restarted it 6 times 100% success rate. Going to replace my router.

    Status: Works perfectly.
AspireOne: A150A, Linpus, Bios V3304, Last LiveUpdate 23-Sep, Address Assignment DHCP, Security type Open, Encyption WPA
Wireless Access Point: Belkin , 802.11bg, Channel ?, SSID Broadcast, Encryption WPA, MAC Filter off
Other Steps Tried: AAO very very unreliable on my Netgear MR814v2, 802.11b router. Perhaps AAO doesn't like 802.11b.

Had loads of problems connecting with my old Netgear MR814v2 802.11b router. Replaced router, had it a week now, AAO works fine.

    Status: Works perfectly. 54Mbits/s
AspireOne: A150A, Linpus, Bios V3304, Last LiveUpdate 23-Sep, Address Assignment DHCP, Security type Open, Encyption WPA
Wireless Access Point: D-Link DIR-655, 802.11bgn, Channel 1, SSID Broadcast, Encryption WPA, MAC Filter off
Other Steps Tried: Very very very poor performance on 802.11b.

I'd encourage people to share their Wifi configuration details, it could help others with Wifi problems.
