Acer Aspire One just over a year old and WiFi died in the middle of browsing. Chatted with support and sure enough bad WiFi card. Is this a problem with the Acer? I've never had a WiFi card go bad.

After 3-4 days of talking with Acer support a restore to last working date restored my Acer One's connectivity. Everything is as it use to be -- working fine. What do u think it could have been. maybe a corrupted file?

i had the sameproblem. the wifi just wouldnt connect to anything, the home network or open network. i did this by accident but it worked. i uninstalled the driver then i rebooted it and the computer discovered the uninstalled driver file and reinstalled it. the wifi worked grat after that. so the problem might have been the driver became curopted.
