Just lately whenever I try and log on to my wifi, the AAO keeps asking me for the password. I had the password set but whenever I go into the 'edit connections' it has created a new password and it's always the same alpha-numeric password, about 20 digits. My wifi password is numeric and considerably shorter. As such I can't log onto the internet. I've tried changing from Ubuntu NBR to Crunchbang but no joy. I've even flashed to bios as on another thread somone said their problems went away when they installed the previous bios.

    Help?

I had similar problem with KDE Network Manager. Since I have Gnome only I do not have any problems. But Network Manager was changing my password to some alphanumeric rubbish as well...

I fixed it! Simply by changing the name of the internet connection on the PC. Weird.
