Sorry if this is redundant... I've done some searching and haven't found any posts that go into this. How the heck do I get the switch up front to turn off wifi? I've tried holding it to the right and it does nothing. Haven't been able to find anything about this anywhere, including Acer's support site. Of course I can just disconnect from the network but that doesn't save any battery life as long as wifi is active... Is this just an issue with systems running XP? I should add that while I'm a "newbie" to this board, I've been around since the early 80s and was service manager for a local VAR. If I can't figure out what the deal is, I'm sure there are others out there also. Other than this one little issue, I Love my Aspire. It is the best of both worlds... I have a Sony UMPC that would be great if it wasn't for the keyboard and a NEC MobilePro 780 that I still use every day but is limited in what it can run. After I added the "bookcover" sleeve from ebay, my Aspire is no more hassle to take with me than a hardcover book. Everywhere I use it, there are people that come over wanting to see it. :D
