Hmmm, let me think. It may be because none of the viewers ever put such a HDD to AA1... Maybe they are not knowledgeable enough to give you an answer or maybe like you they just started they adventure with netbook or maybe they just lazy....

However - I do not see any reason why it shouldn't work...

i cant just buy from a shop and insert it in my laptop to see if it works... and if it doesnt work so i cant return it back to the shop, thats not their return policy.. returns only possible if there is a flaw... so its hard to take an 80$ risk..

that is the reason i need a firm answer whether someone has tried that or not.. and not hitachi any 7200rpm drive...
    and any performace difference...

I see no reason why it would not work. Since they sell netbooks with bigger drives than that in them.
But if it does not, buy a case, and make it an external drive.

I agree with the other repliers, that it **ought** to work. I've got a (so far unanswered) post in this forum which asks whether the D250 storage controller supports SATA II (3GB/s) or only basic SATA (1.5GB/s). I would imagine that your 7200RPM disk would be SATA II. Stay tuned!
