    Hi All,

I got my Aspire Pro One this week, it's got 2GB RAM in it and i've installed Win7 and seems to work fine. However, when I try to run the performance index it keeps giving me an error saying

"The windows experience index for your computer could not be computed"

If I check the winsat.log file I see this error

    Code:
    895398 (3352) - winsat\logging.cpp:0815: --- START 2010\1\29 10:14:19 ---
    895414 (3352) - winsat\main.cpp:4301: Command Line = "C:\Windows\system32\winsat.exe" formal -cancelevent db4d5ec4-2bd0-4e17-94d0-84cb66427948
895414 (3352) - winsat\processwinsaterror.cpp:0095: ERROR: tried to read resource strings, unknown exception occured
    895430 (3352) - winsat\main.cpp:4474: > IsFormal=TRUE IsMoobe=FALSE.
    895430 (3352) - winsat\main.cpp:4505: ERROR: no multi-media files, no MM support
895445 (3352) - winsat\main.cpp:2861: > no need to restore power state (no saver object).
    895445 (3352) - winsat\main.cpp:2873: > Not necessary to reenable EMD cache.
    895445 (3352) - winsat\main.cpp:4909: > exit value = 10.

I've got latest drivers for my hardware and all seems to be installed OK, any ideas whats going on?

    THank you

What edition of Windows 7 have you installed? You may have installed the "N" edition such as Windows 7 Starter N Edition. The "N" editions do not have Windows Media Player and therefore cannot do a performance test as the required multimedia files are not present.
