Windows 7 Build 7048 leaked!

    Build 7048 is now awailable for download at your favourite source.

    What is new:
    IE8 can be uninstalled. (Media Center, Media Player and DVD maker can be removed as well)
    Ready Boost is now possible using a SD card on the A1
    Performance Index increased from 2.1 to 2.2.
    New sound schemes.
    No more feedback link.
    Possible RC1 version
    Drivers for all hardware on the A1
    Can be upgraded from previous Win7 beta. Every settings and programs will be restored.
    Idle temp using AA1 fan controll, fan off is 56-58 celsius.
    Less than 40 running processes, base system using approx 650MB memory

    I'm tempted but would like confirmation that its going to be the official RC1. Else I'll just end up, doing it all over again in April!

    I gave to temptation and installed 7048 :) Upgraded over 7000 perfectly. Havent fully tested it yet but seems good so far. Got 2.3 on the system Index (Processor 2.3, RAM 4.4, Graphics 2.3, Gaming 3.0 and HDD 5.1) and currently using up 460MB memory.
