Welcome to the Windows 7 drivers topic.
If you can't find the right drivers, you're at the right place.
When you install Windows 7, there are only two missing drivers:

    - Card Reader
    - Wireless (Atheros)

*UPDATE* I have tried these drivers only on Build 6956, as far as I know, some drivers have been added and some have been removed.
Since I don't have an Aspire One anymore I can't add the drivers here because I don't know which ones work and which ones doesn't.
You will need to look at the last comments to find the drivers with RC1. ...or you can start a new topic with the new drivers!

    Peace,
    GvidoR

To update your drivers go to control panel then click device manager. Go down and locate your Wlan card the right click to go to properties. Once in properties go to update driver then do a manual browse. Set the manual location to be the same location as the drivers that you downloaded in the above posted link. Thats all and enjoy....

Having some issues. My wireless was working fine until I loaded Adobe. After that, no wireless?? I downloaded the wireless driver. Went into device mgmr selected "Ethernet controller" and pointed at my download. No go. I also have 3 other "Base system device"'s that are hanging out there? Any suggestions/help??? Thanks. By the way, in WIN XP the wireless works fine. Nice huh...

Did you load Adobe Reader ? I'd recommend Foxit Reader - smaller & faster.
It's the Card Reader! Download the driver and then all Base System Device's will be gone.

Anyone else having trouble with these Realtek audio drivers? They play but there's crackling sound when it plays. Defaulting to microsoft's driver works okay, but I would think the Realtek should work better.

Edit: This is kinda weird and I wonder if others have the same problem. When I install and used the Realtek drivers I get crackling. I uninstalled them and used Microsoft's default drivers, they also crackled. I then installed Realtek again but didn't uninstall, instead I manually chose Microsoft's driver and the sound is fine. I'm guessing leaving Realtek's codecs in the machine but using Microsoft's driver somehow works. Thoughts?

Edit#2: Forget that above. I had a Kasperky kl1.sys bsod and when it restarted the sound was bad again. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still nothing. I finally found an older Realtek driver that seems to be working but we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll try and get the bsod to happen again and see if it holds up.

Any one else experiencing problems with the touchpad driver?
The gestures and everything works but suddenly it just hangs. Well, I can move the mouse but the application says that I have my finger in the middle of the touchpad and nothing happens when I double-click the icon.
I just wanted the touchpad driver to work properly so I can do the gestures to zoom in or out.
