Finaly, the release candidate has been leaked onto torrents. It has the build number 7077 and is complied on the same date as the RC, ergo, it is the RC.
it Can be found easily with a search on, mininova?

    Edit* Potential RC instead?

    Re: Windows 7 RC1 Leaked!

How does it run? I started downloading it last night when it was leaked but I got stuck with the masses at 89.7% for hours (the original seed disappeared). They finally came back last night so I didn't get to install it yet. But it looks good from what I hear.

Also, this isn't the release candidate (yet). It's a potential release candidate (release candidate candidate??) meaning if there aren't any showstopper bugs, this will become the release candidate.

With the exception o the 3G not working are there any major bugs or issues with this build??? I'm not sure I want to install it until there is more info posted on the build so are the only post Ive seen is the one about the 3G not working. Anyone have anything else to say about this build?

    TIA

Got it installed over the weekend, upgraded over my existing 7068 build. Everything still works, had one error where the graphics driver stopped working and recovered. Responsiveness slightly better, no more weird hangs in Office 2007. I use it 8 hours a day so I'll post an update after todays full day at work.

Could not connect to my 802.11g router (netgear) with the built in Atheros AR5007EG driver. Used the v7.6.1.221 driver instead. No other issues so far.

Works with my 3G USB dongle or are you talking about inbuilt 3G ?

Swapped my wifi card for an Intel 5300 N and it worked out of the box. Only drivers I had to install was for graphics card - the mouse pointer was a 300 pixel square shadow !! Installed the video drivers, rebooted and all was well :D

Is this the RC, for real? Is there an option to upgrade over 7077? Actually, is there a point in upgrading atm?
